Paul Stevers, Founder and Chairman of the Board

Paul Stevers is a Canadian engineer, inventor, entrepreneur, and founder of several for-profit and non-profit organizations focused on environmental innovation and humanitarian development. After graduating from the engineering program at University of Waterloo, he began his entrepreneurial career by co-founding Impax Incorporated in 1984 and later helped develop advanced medical waste processing technologies through his work with Bio-Oxidation Inc. in the United States.
Following the events of September 11, 2001, Paul dedicated increasing attention and personal resources toward developing practical ways to support stability, education, and economic opportunity in conflict-affected regions, particularly Afghanistan and parts of Africa.
In 2004, he founded CharityHelp International (CHI), a non-profit organization focused on supporting children and communities in developing countries through long-term sponsorship, education, and development initiatives. Through CHI and related initiatives, Paul has worked to combine technology, renewable resources, and humanitarian support to help create sustainable opportunities for underserved communities.
In addition to CHI, Paul founded Think Renewables, Inc. and Think Renewables Group to support the development of technologies designed for challenging environments and humanitarian applications.
